How it works at TWU

facemash at TWU is open to students at Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX, who are 18 or older. Log in with your @twu.edu email address: we email you a one-time code, so there’s no password. Then upload a selfie of yourself and tick the box agreeing to be shown and ranked. Nobody is on facemash unless they did that themselves.

Only people who log in with an email address from Texas Woman's University see your photo and the TWU rankings. People at other schools can’t. You see two photos from TWU at a time and click the one you think is hotter. After 10 matchups you’re ranked, and each list stays hidden until at least 10 people are on it. You can also verify yourself with a live selfie to get a ✓. You can delete your account and photo at any time from your profile page.

Which email do I use at TWU?
Use your username@twu.edu address; @alumni.twu.edu is for graduates. Addresses ending in @alumni.twu.edu aren’t accepted. Leave out any “+” part (like you+fm@…).
Can I use a personal email?
No. facemash only accepts Texas Woman's University addresses, so everyone who can see you (apart from site admins reviewing reports) logged in with one too.
